Now anti-hunger hormone would fight obesity!
Anupam Agnihotri | Jan 15 2007

The idea of fighting obesity with anti-hunger hormone is quite interesting as it provides us with an opportunity not to go further for bearing the many of the side effects of Bariatric surgery, as it is claimed to be free from any kind of side effects, not even in cases with PP-secreting tumours. Besides, I take it as a natural way to fight obesity since, it uses natural hormone called, pancreatic polypeptide (PP) to tackle obesity problem.

Actually, this new way of fighting obesity works in quite a natural way and throwing more light on its working Professor Bloom avers: ‘Developing a treatment based on natural appetite suppression, mimicking our body’s response to being full, has the potential to be safe and effective. We believe pancreatic polypeptide may be the answer.’

We all know that there are many drugs or treatments available to fight obesity but a big number of those treatments come along with several side effects. However, with this new way of fighting cancer we can hope that now there would be threat just to obesity and not to ourselves.
